Well I guess I took an unintentional bloggy break. So much has been going on since my last post. Life has been full of power outages due to wind storms (again!) and the utility companies working at our neighbors house, homework, lessons and laundry. When I did have time and power to be online I had to help my daughter research for her report, speech and sculpture. I had googled, typed and clicked so much that my wrists hurt for two days! But thankfully we got everything done this weekend and I think my daughter did a fab job on this fellow.

Meet Mr. Orville Wright. Pretty good huh?
We had a wonderful low key Valentines Day. We always have a fancy candle lit dinner at home with the kids. With cloth napkins and the good china even. We had a fabulous three course fondue dinner, lots of conversation and laughter. A perfect way to spend the day with those I love.
I thought I would share my card I made for my husband.
I kept it pretty simple and graphic for him. He likes those types of cards best. I just punched some hearts out of scrap paper and added pop dots to them. A little look at the inside.

I thought I would spare you the mushy stuff and block that out. Here is the one my husband made for me.

It opens to a postcard that he painted with watercolors and some randomly cut paper.

The back again with all the mushy stuff blocked out.
I thought he did a great job. Well with the lack of blogging I was doing last week I did manage to get in some more creative time and I have some bright spring projects to share with you this week. Thanks for stopping by!
