Well we made it back safely from our little trip. This past weekend was yet another competition for my baton twirling girls. This was the last competitions of the year thankfully and it was not without its bumps. Only about half of what we planned to do got accomplished. We had big plans to visit the zoo and see some other sites. In the end the weather and other little bumps squashed those ideas.
As I look over the photos from the competition I am sad. I was sad that I was unable to capture more photos than I did. With three girls all having to be in the right place at the right time (sometimes at the same time even) and costume changes it gets crazy and I forget to snap photos. How wonderful it would be to have an assistant with me in addition to the hubby and coach! How about an assistant all the time *wink* Think of all we could get done if we all had personal assistants! Definitely not reality, but a girl can dream anyway right?
So onto Project 365. I have been trying to keep up with the photos, but I have not done so well at keeping up with the journaling. I need to set aside some more time for that. Here are a few of what I have taken this past week.
Blooms in the yard. I really hate these plants except the brief time they have these blooms on them.

A shot my daughter captured on one of the many trips across town to lessons. Apparently I was deep in concentration.
The Golden Arches. Ahh yes a few visits to there lately.

A large bunch of festive ponytail holders purchased last week for the 4th of July parade.

Summer workbooks. The kids do these every summer and love them.

And two far away shots of the competition this weekend. They will not allow parents on the floor so most of the shots were just not that great.
Thanks for stopping by.
